Allie's Coming Out Party

Last weekend, I was back in LA for Allie's Coming Out party. Just over two months old, friends and family came from all over the country to meet Baby Allie. You can find the photos here (scroll down towards the end for the most recent photos). This post is just for the party details.

I made decorations: mobiles, garland, and pom poms.

For the sign in, I made a wire frame holder and cute cards for guests for fill out. The cards were a deviation from the standard sentimental stuff, which I think turned out to be more fun for the guests. Even men and children wrote something!

I found these acrylic frames at Michael's for insanely cheap, $2 and $3 for 5x7 and 8x10. I used the same scrapbook paper from the mobiles to decorate the sides of the frames. Nhu had photo books printed of both Allie and Ellie for the guests to look through.

One of Nhu and Quang's friends brought over a beautiful cake. You might recognize the photos. The angel is made of sugar. The theme of the cake matches the tutu Nhu made for Allie from here newborn photos.
